In a world where the financial landscape is rapidly transforming, the European financial sector stands at a pivotal juncture. The years since the global financial crisis have seen the tables turn, with some regions taking a larger portion of the pie while others lag in competitiveness. The imperative for forward-thinking strategies is more pressing today than ever and Europe’s role in this shifting paradigm is critical as it endeavours to bolster its position and maintain a competitive edge on the world stage.
Our Focus On Global Competitiveness explores how firms are navigating this modern financial order, at a time when innovation, policy, and markets are rapidly shifting.
Clive Horwood, Deputy CEO & Managing Editor of OMFIF, will delve into the latest industry thinking, what story the numbers show, and how firms are reacting. Our speakers will go on to explore the conversion of imperatives to opportunities. What vantage ground does sustainable finance have yet to offer? How can the digital revolution be harnessed to redefine the future of financial services?
Through a series of discussions and exchanges, policymakers, industry pioneers, and experts will examine how Europe can not only adapt but also take the lead in this dynamic environment.
