Focus on Crypto & Tokenisation
Date & Time

- Digital Event
Crypto markets have been tumultuous since the collapse of FTX in November 2022. On the other side of the Atlantic, the emergence of the world’s first regulatory regime relating to digital assets, the EU’s MiCAR, has finally brought these assets under regulatory oversight.
However, solely focusing on crypto distracts from the bigger picture: namely, the potential offerings stemming from blockchain technology. DLT has a wide range of applications within financial services; use cases in securities services that are already coming to fruition, digital assets and tokenisation and the potential this has in creating new classes of tradable assets, or at the very least dramatically simplify processes related to existing ones.
Our Focus On Crypto & Tokenisation will delve into this growing area of finance, examining institutional investor crypto appetite, real-world asset tokenisation, digital asset use cases, institutional use of DLT, as well as provide an overview of Luxembourg’s blockchain laws and the benefits they provide for the industry. To do so we are joined by a number of leading experts in the field from companies leading the charge in this area.
