It’s been said that data is the new oil and all of financial services now run on this resource. It is critical not only for determining client choices and engagement, but ensuring that new technologies, such as AI and Machine Learning, can effectively operate and bring about efficiencies.
AI and automation technologies are having a profound effect on the financial services space. In light of this, our Focus on AI & Big Data dives into this topic, with a series of fireside chats with leading experts in this space.
Dr. Andreas Braun from PwC Luxembourg will update us on AI use cases in the financial services industry. Frédéric Moioli from Lingua Custodia will walk us through Legal Tech and NLP’s potential in the financial industry. As AI has revolutionised fraud detection, we will sit down with Anne Goujon from BGL BNP Paribas and Ananda Kautz from the Luxembourg Bankers’ Association to discuss this in more detail. We will also touch base on the uses of AI for fund’s operations with Davide Martucci from Next Gate Tech and Stéphane Royer from FundProcess.
Last but not least, we will delve into the advent of Robo advisors and their impact on the banking system with Ken Van Eesbeek from Gambit.
