Luxembourg ranked 3rd among EU financial centres

Luxembourg’s financial centre continues to perform well in today’s challenging geopolitical and economic environment. The half-yearly rankings of the Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI 34), published on 28 September, place Luxembourg in the top 3 of all EU financial centres together with Frankfurt and Paris and ahead of Amsterdam.

Luxembourg is also 3rd in the EU in the index dedicated to measuring financial centres’ Fintech offerings.

The GFCI is published by Z/Yen Partners, in September and March, in collaboration with the China Development Institute and uses data covering a range of factors including business environment, human capital, infrastructure, financial sector development, and reputation.
